Though Karishma never openly confessed her love for Upen, the later has been very vocal about it ever since he has re-entered the house. After the kiss, Karishma looked stunned but Upen pacified her by telling her that everything is fine. Though Karishma has always maintained that she has a boyfriend outside the house, but according to media reports, her beau Rushabh Choksi has always said that they are just friends. According to a close source, Karishma Tanna is doing all this because her voting numbers have subsequently dropped down and since romance angle always works in the controversial house, therefore she is resorting to the same.
